REVIEW: There’s New MONORAIL-THEMED Coffee in Disney World! 🚝

Who doesn’t love an early morning coffee during your trip to Disney World?

Time to grab a coffee!

I mean, you have to get some energy for the day somehow! Whether you prefer to stop in at Starbucks on Main Street or go to your favorite Joffrey’s kiosk, you’re bound to find something that is delicious and helps you get through the day. We were headed into the parks and found a NEW drink at Joffrey’s, so we decided to get it to share with you!

The Highway in the Sky Horchata at Joffrey’s caught our eye just by the name alone! Yep — it’s themed to the MONORAIL! Really the only thing about it that’s Monorail-themed is the name, but we’ll still take it. 😂

This drink is a sweet blend of Espresso and Horchata, topped with Whipped Cream, Cinnamon, and Gold Sprinkles. You can grab this drink at the Joffrey’s kiosk at the Ticket and Transportation Center for $6.49.

Let’s try it!

This drink wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t mind-blowing good either. It had a great cinnamon flavor, but the coffee wasn’t super smooth. They added a lot of cinnamon at the bottom, and it added a texture that we didn’t mind but not everyone may want in their coffee. It is topped with sweet whipped cream that we enjoyed, but our drink didn’t actually have gold sprinkles in it since they didn’t have any at this location.

When we tried it, we noticed that it had some serious similarities to a drink we tried at the Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT– The Horchata Cold Brew. The main difference between the two is that this drink is made with espresso and the EPCOT version is made with cold brew.

If you like cinnamon, you’re in for a treat with this drink. The flavor is also very coffee-forward, so if you prefer that in your coffee drinks, this would be something good to try!

If you’re not a fan of different textures in your drinks and just want them to be smooth, this may not be the one for you. However, Joffrey’s has a TON of options — so you’ll find the perfect one for you.
