There are tons of things to do around the parks during the day — from trying seasonal treats and taking in all of the decor to meeting Santa Claus. If you want to get the most holiday cheer in during your vacation, however, you might want to check out Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. At this special ticketed event, you’ll get to try some exclusive party snacks, meet all kinds of characters in their holiday best, watch party-exclusive entertainment, and more. But, this event is popular, so if you want to take part during your trip, it’s important to plan ahead.

We’re in the parks every day, and there is one thing we see time and time again on party days. Day-of tickets are rarely available!

These parties sell out!

When tickets first go on sale, it might look like there is plenty of availability for the week of your trip, but don’t let that prevent you from booking ahead of time. You can start booking your tickets online well in advance, so we recommend getting them as soon as you know you’ll be going! Even on the slower weeks, it’s uncommon for tickets for a specific night’s party to be on sale that morning, so you shouldn’t count on snagging your tickets when you get to the park that day.

If you do happen to miss out on grabbing your tickets ahead of time, though, make sure to talk to a Cast Member about your options. Currently, there are only two dates left for the party listed online — December 12th and December 14th. However, we spoke to a Cast Member at City Hall in Magic Kingdom today who said there are actually four dates available, so you might still be able to find something that works for you.
