CRIME Has Befallen EPCOT's Tiny Train Town!

Disney World is a magical place full of dreams, hope, thrills, nostalgia, and sometimes — CRIME.

The little German villagers in EPCOT’s tiny train town know that all too well. We’ve seen tragedy strike time and time again in this seemingly quaint village — you might remember the recent biochemical attack or the rowdy crime sprees of updates past. Now, we’re crushed to report that the unthinkable has happened in this town once again.

EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion is home to some of our favorite snacks, exciting entertainment, shopping, and a town under attack. Just take this seemingly abandoned train station for example. It’s clear that the tracks come to an end, making this station unusable — so what are those folks doing gathered on the platform? Perhaps this is a staging area for nefarious behavior. It also looks like someone is down by the tracks — a potential saboteur?

Up to no good

It’s pretty clear something shady is going on over on this side of town. Two people, standing off to the side in the bushes in aggressive stances? Who are they trying to avoid? Maybe the person on the left owes the person on the right money for cat-sitting services rendered and is demanding payment — that seems like the most obvious situation for this scene.

CAT FIGHT!

Over here, what appears to be a friendly game of chess has turned contentious. One man has accused the other of throwing the game on purpose to satisfy a debt to a loan shark and things are getting heated. The man in the back is a little too close for comfort and seems like he’s listening in — perhaps the loan shark sent one of his goons to make sure the debt is settled. Either way, it’s bad news on this side of town.

Game gone wrong.

We’re sorry to report that misfortune has even come to the little chapel in the town! Several people look injured scattered out in front of the church and the door has been left ajar. What were they fleeing from? A man is stationed out front like a sentinel — what does he know? Is he involved? He doesn’t seem to be concerned in the slightest. Whatever it is, we intend to find out.
