REVIEW: This EPCOT Cookie Has Some Explaining To Do.

If indulging in the sweetest of treats is a pastime for you, you’re definitely not alone. The holidays often provide DELICIOUS desserts and we’ve found a really fun one to share with you!

The 2023 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays has officially begun and the selections are awesome! With a ton of food booths with tasty treats, shows and entertainment options, and souvenirs, now is certainly one of the best times to visit EPCOT. Of course, if you get to experience the Festival of the Holidays, you HAVE to try the cookie stroll. Along the way, you’ll find Sunshine Seasons — and we’re here to give you all the sugary details!

Sunshine Seasons is open year-round at EPCOT and typically offers a variety of delicious quick service food in EPCOT’s World Nature. Diners usually have access to better-for-you entrées like Salman and Power Salads. You can also get sweets and pastries like crème brûlée and key lime tarts! For this festival, though, Festival of the Holidays is returning a classic holiday item for the Cookie Stroll — the Jingle Sugar Cookie!

You can find out more about the Sunshine Seasons menu and view our reviews HERE, but for this one, we’re looking solely at Sunshine Seasons’ returning festival cookie, the Jingle Sugar Cookie. This cookie is part of the Cookie Stroll, an event within the festival where you can purchase five cookies from any official Cookie Stroll location and collect a matching stamp in your festival passport for each cookie purchased. If you collect all five stamps, you can bring the stamped passport to Holiday Sweets & Treats to receive a specialty cookie!

As for the cookie itself, it costs $3.99 and is made with M&M’s chocolate candies.

It is with a heavy heart that we tell you this — we were not a fan of the cookie this year. It was super hard and took us a long time to actually bite into it. We were super excited for this one and had high hopes since we LOVE a good sugar cookie, but this one missed the mark. The M&M’s were the best part for us.

Overall, this is a good-sized cookie to share, but there are better cookies to spend your money on for the cookie stroll. If you like cookies on the crunchier side, this one may be for you. We’re hopeful that we got a bad batch, and maybe there are softer cookies on the horizon.
