2 Rides Have CHANGED in EPCOT for the Holiday Season!

The 2023 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays is officially here!

Living With The Land Holiday Edition

You know you’ll catch us eating around the world so we can try all the new and returning menu items. But you’ll also find us hopping on a few attractions to check out the holiday ride overlays. This is one of our favorite parts about the holidays in EPCOT and we’re here to tell you all about the rides you need to check out so you can see the festive changes!

Living with the Land

If you know us, you know we here at DFB love Living with the Land. But we especially love it when it’s all dolled up for the holidays.

Festive decor

If you hop on board, you’ll find reindeer Mickeys, lights, snowmen, and seasonal flowers and other plants. It’s just a magical experience. And since the attraction doesn’t tend to have a very long wait, you shouldn’t have to wait ages to check it out.

Journey Into Imagination with Figment

Another attraction that changes just slightly during the holidays in EPCOT is Journey Into Imagination with Figment. Okay, so Figment gets a festive sweater for the holidays, and yes, we ride this attraction JUST TO SEE HIM IN HIS ADORABLE LITTLE SWEATER. Don’t judge us.

Make sure you hop on the ride so you can see it for yourself. This is another attraction that doesn’t tend to have a long wait so it should be an easy thing to add to your plans for the day!

He’s very festive now

However, we’ve got some bad news about Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Although the ride got new music last year for the holidays, this year…well, it’s not happening. Last year, we got to hear a medley of holiday tunes including “Run Rudolph Run,” “Deck the Halls,” and “Jingle Bells.” Some of those songs also had a few lyric changes to fit in with the ride. But this year, you’re just getting the regular Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind with its original soundtrack.
