REVIEW: Come Try CHRISTMAS CHARCUTERIE With Us At Jollywood Nights at Disney World!

Jollywood Nights in Hollywood Studios has proven to be more than your average Christmas party.

But after taking in the Muppets holiday variety show and jazzy, Hollywood soiree, we’re craving something more sophisticated than milk and cookies, and Jollywood Nights has us covered!

Tonight, we headed over to the Baseline Taphouse for some fancy schmancy eats and sips! These aren’t your typical seasonal fare of turkey and stuffing or cookies and eggnog, but we can’t wait to try it!

Tuna Ceviche

First up is the Tuna Ceviche. This dish includes marinated ahi tuna, pico de gallo, and avocado cream topped with cilantro.

Ceviche is a seafood dish where diced cubes of raw fish, marinated in a lemon or lime juice mixture, react with the citrus juices to cure the fish protein and cause it to become opaque and firm while absorbing flavor and is traditionally from South America. We REALLY liked this dish. The tuna was fresh, buttery, and had a smooth and creamy avocado sauce with it that cooled off the spicy tang of the pico de Gallo. The rim of the cup had a chili lime seasoning that provided some extra spice, too. We really liked this one!

Charcuterie Cup

Next, let’s try the Charcuterie Cup. This comes with Manchego cheese, chorizo, serrano ham, pickled vegetables, olives, and toasted focaccia bread.

Rich cheese, smokey, spicy meats, zesty veggies, salty olives, and soft bread, this snack promises to deliver on all of the classic food levels. But is it worth the price and the time out of your party hours to try? Let’s see! When it comes to value and quality, this dish has it all. Everything tastes great, and you get a LOT for less than $6. However, it just isn’t as exciting as we’d hoped. Like, where is the holiday spirit? That’s our one complaint.
