Check Out the CROWDS at a SOLD-OUT Jollywood Nights in Disney World!

Tonight we are LIVE from Disney’s Hollywood Studios‘ first-ever Jollywood Nights!

We can’t wait to try all the exclusive snacks at the event, as well as check out all the new entertainment and attractions you can’t experience anywhere else. But how many people are with us celebrating this new event? Let’s check out what crowds look like on this first night, which has SOLD OUT!

When we first entered the park at around 7PM, lines to get in were THICK. Also, regular guests were still in the park, meaning crowds seemed really, REALLY heavy. Thankfully, this didn’t last too long since the park closed at 8PM and guests were headed out.

As the official start at 8:30PM grew closer, crowds were looking pretty dense. The line to get arm bands and lanyards was all the way back to Baseline Taphouse, while the actual check-in process was by Echo Lake.

Throughout the park, crowds were dispersed a bit more, which was honestly relieving.

The mobile walk-up waitlist for the Jazzy Holidays event at the Hollywood Brown Derby filled up FAST — you can join on the My Disney Experience app starting at 8:15PM, and it was full about five minutes after it opened. Lots of people wanted to get into this exclusive club!

The Tip Top Club at the Tower of Terror was also pretty crowded. You can just walk up and enjoy the band, but the line for drinks was LONG — we waited over a half hour to get ours.

We ran into another long line at Fairfax Fare, which has five exclusive party snacks. This was another line that was at least a half-hour long.

However, the virtual queue for Rise of the Resistance wasn’t full even around 8:50PM, even though you could join starting at 8PM. So it seems like everyone’s busy trying to get into the event-exclusive offerings!

In fact, when we looked at wait times for all the rides (around 10:20PM), all of them were super low. There were lots of 5-minute wait times (even for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster!)…

…and the highest wait — for Slinky Dog Dash — was still just 25 minutes.

The first Nightmare Before Christmas sing-along show was completely full, with people lining up for the 9:30PM show starting at 8:30PM. However, we were able to walk into the 9:30PM show just about eight minutes before it began.

Overall, the event-exclusive things like the shows, Jazzy Holidays, and Tip Top Club have all seemed very crowded tonight. Disney might be working out a few kinks as it’s the first night of the party.
