Can you believe the holidays are already here?!
Yep, it might only be the beginning of November, but Disney is celebrating! We’ve already seen decorations go up in the parks, and tonight, we’re at the first night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! We’re checking out everything the party has to offer. So, come along with us to review a new dessert!
We’re heading over to try a new party-exclusive treat at Cool Ship in Magic Kingdom. It’s the Magic Holiday Tree, and it’s available for $4.25.
The Magic Holiday Tree is a tart-like pastry with coconut, pecans, and M&M’s chocolate candies on a graham cracker crust.
This could be described as a coconutty take on a pecan pie, but greener than the Grinch, so how did it measure up when we tasted it? Well, it sure is coconutty. That’s definitely the main flavor we got. It was better than we anticipated, though, and it has a subtle sweetness that people might like if they’re not into super rich, chocolatey desserts that are more common throughout the holidays. The biggest disappointment when it comes to this snack is the almost nonexistent graham cracker crust. We would have loved the taste and texture of it!
This snack is okay, it’s good, but it’s not knock your socks off. We probably wouldn’t go back and get it again, but we don’t regret trying it at all. If you hate coconut, don’t get this treat. However, if you’re okay with that taste and texture and are looking for a more subtle sweet treat, this one might be worth a try.
This treat is ONLY available at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (which is happening on select dates between now and December 22nd), so you gotta get a ticket to the event if you wanna try it.
