Blizzard Beach Has REOPENED in Disney World — Come With Us To See What's Changed!

It’s finally happening!

It’s finally open again!!

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park has been closed for months, but it’s finally reopening! Come with us to head inside and find out what’s changed and new at the park.

Blizzard Beach reopened today, November 6th. Don’t forget that Typhoon Lagoon has now closed for its own refurbishment. On the day Blizzard Beach reopened, you could visit it from 10AM to 5PM.

And Disney had the water park decorated for the holidays, already. If you’re in the market for a new sled, Sonny will sell ya a festive one!

There are some new treats at Blizzard Beach now, too! Over the Warming Hut there are now two new flavors of wings. You can get a bucket of 10 Honey-Sriracha wings.

Or you can grab a six-wing basket of either Honey-Sriracha or Garlic Parmesan wings.

Two new churros have arrived in the water park as well! Both can be found at Arctic Expeditions for $8.99

New Churros!

First up, we got the S’mores Churro, which is churro bites topped with graham cracker crumbs, marshmallow whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and toasted mini marshmallows.

This set of fancy churros were nice and fresh, giving you a crispy bite (though in a perfect world we would have asked for even more crunch). These were very sweet and decadent. Our favorite part was probably the marshmallow whipped cream which was so thick and rich. It went really well paired with the cinnamon sugar sprinkled on top.

So good!

Overall, this churro was very sweet, so if you have a sweet tooth, you might love this!

Next, we tried the Banana Split Churros, which are churro bites topped with banana slices, sliced strawberries, pineapple chunks, cookie and brownie pieces, chocolate and caramel sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry.

This was our favorite of the two because we enjoyed how much the fruit brightened up the snack. It’s also very large and could easily be shared. The churros were soft and fresh while the fruit was perfectly ripe and sweet. We would have loved if the brownie bites were a bit softer and if the churro had a bit more crunch, but that’s just nit picking.

We truly enjoyed everything about this treat. But if you’re not a fan of all the fruit, then you may prefer the S’mores option.

Of course, lots of old fan-favorite treats and snacks are returning as well to snack stands throughout the water park. So grab your swim suit and let’s hit the slopes!
