The NEWEST Character Meet and Greet Is NOW Open at EPCOT

Today is the day! We get to meet a new character at EPCOT.

It has been an exciting time at EPCOT this year. We have added some friendly faces that you can see around the park. For example, Mickey and Minnie have been meeting in their Disney100 costumes. We got to welcome Moana’s meet and greet beside her new attraction. Now, we get to meet Asha today from Disney’s newest film, Wish, and we’re taking you along with us.

It was a bit of a surprise to find out that Asha would be meeting today! When we made it to EPCOT, it was later in the day, and the crowds weren’t too bad.

Asha is meeting at the World Showcase Friendship Ambassador Gazebo. This is where Pluto was meeting, but Disney hasn’t shared if he’ll be staying here anymore since there is new theming for Asha.

Asha will come out multiple times throughout the day, and on the first day, her opening meet and greet set began at 9:30AM. On November 1st, you could also meet her at 10:45AM, 11:55AM, 1:50PM, and 3:00PM. According to the sign in EPCOT, though, Asha will be available to meet through 4:15PM.

We got in line and waited for 30 minutes once Asha came out. Here’s what the line looked like when we got in it. It wasn’t very long at all!

We had a great interaction with her and a fun chat! She was wearing her iconic outfit from the new movie.

We know this meet and greet is going to be a great addition for many Wish fans, especially when the movie officially releases.
