When you go to Disney World, do you JUST go to the theme parks, or do you check out other parts of the resort?

That’s right, there’s WAY more to do in Disney World than the parks. You can play miniature golf, go shopping and eating at Disney Springs, and visit Disney World’s water parks. Now, one of those water parks, Blizzard Beach, has been closed for refurbishment since earlier this year, but it’s reopening soon — with new food!
Recently, we got a hint that Blizzard Beach, which has been closed since March 2023, might reopen very soon. Disney World listed it as one of the holiday offerings at the resort for the 2023 holiday season, which is right around the corner. Well, now we know that Blizzard Beach will reopen on November 6th, and the water park will be bringing some new food!

Yep, new food and drinks will be available at Blizzard Beach when it reopens. First, you’ll be able to get CHURROS at the Arctic Expeditions snack spot. Yes, MORE CHURROS are coming to Disney World! Give us a moment to celebrate…
Here are the new churros you’ll be able to dig into:
- S’mores Churros – Churro bites topped with graham cracker crumbs, marshmallow whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and toasted mini marshmallows
- Banana Split Churros – Churro bites topped with banana slices, sliced strawberries, pineapple chunks, cookie and brownie pieces, chocolate and caramel sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry.

But that’s not the only new food headed to Blizzard Beach. Some new snacks will also be making their way to the Warming Hut: Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings and Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings. YUM! You’ll also still be able to get your fave Blizzard Beach snacks at Lottawatta Lodge, Polar Pub, Frostbite Freddy’s, and more.
