Changes happen almost every day in Disney World.
But recently, in one big swoop of their hand, we have seen A LOT of changes! Park Hopper changes were announced, new Annual Pass prices were announced, and many price increases were added. We noticed that two of our favorite snacks were included in the list of food items to receive a price increase today.
As 2023 nears the end, we’re not at all surprised to see price increases being announced. We’re nearing the new year in Disney World and with that often comes pricing announcements. So let’s take a look at how the prices have changed for our beloved Mickey Pretzel and Dole Whip snacks.
Dole Whip soft serve is a huge deal in Disney World, especially to us. We love all the Dole Whip snacks that Disney comes out with. We noticed that the Dole Whip soft serve over at Pineapple Lanai has changed from $4.99 to $5.49 and the Pineapple Float there is now $6.29 instead of $5.99.
This price change for Dole Whip floats and smoothies can be seen at all other locations that offer them (except for any specialty float and at Tamu Tamu in Animal Kingdom.) At Tamu Tamu, you can get a Dole Whip Pineapple Float for $6.49 now as opposed to previously for $5.99. They also offer an alcoholic version of the float with Parrot Bay Coconut Rum which has increased from $11.50 to $12.
We also noticed that the two pool bars at Disney’s Polynesian Resort also increased the prices of their specialty Dole Whip cocktails. At both Oasis Bar & Grill and Barefoot Pool Bar the Frozen Margarita with Dole Whip Lime went from $15.50 to $16 and both the Frosty Pineapple and The Voyager increased from $14.50 to $15.
At Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom, the Dole Whip orange and strawberry cups increased from $5.29 to $5.79. They also offer a specialty Dole Whip float, the I Lava You Float, which increased from $6.99 to $7.29. And the last of the Dole Whip price increases we saw was over at Boardwalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas where the Captain Seaside Sensation went from $13.50 to $14.
Even with the price increases, Dole Whips are still some of our favorite Disney snacks! We also love us a Mickey Pretzel, which has also seen a price increase. You can now get a Mickey Pretzel for $7.79 instead of $7.49 at all locations they are offered.
It’s no surprise that we’re seeing so many changes in Disney World this week. As the year comes to an end, we can most likely expect more to happen especially as EPCOT finally nears the end of its transformation.
