REVIEW: There’s a NEW Treat in EPCOT’s World Showcase!

We’ve tried quite a few new eats in EPCOT recently!

From new Food & Wine Festival booths to special Annual Passholder treats, there has been no shortage of delicious treats. But on a recent visit to the park, we added another to that list — a new snack made for a special anniversary!

We’re approaching the 10th Anniversary of the release of Frozen in theaters, and Disney is celebrating with a new snack in the Norway Pavilion. At Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe, you can get the Frozen Tart for $5.99.

The tart comes with strawberry and white chocolate mousse on top of chocolate ganache. It’s all topped off with a white chocolate decoration of Anna and Elsa.

It’s so pretty!

The tart shell was nice and soft, and the whole treat was surprisingly easy to eat (it didn’t melt or fall apart). White chocolate mousse is the most prominent flavor, which makes this snack pretty sweet overall, but the strawberry mousse and chocolate ganache add a delicious balance.

We’d order this again!

The chocolate was probably my favorite part of the tart overall, as it was rich and creamy. And of course, chocolate is a favorite of Anna and Elsa’s! The main downside to this is how sweet it got from the white chocolate mousse — it’s probably too much for one person to finish on their own. The flavors and textures are great, but you’re better off splitting this one with someone else!
