2023 is the year of Disney!
Disney100 decor is up in EPCOT!
All year long, Disney has celebrated its 100th Anniversary around the globe. Disneyland has been celebrating for a while, and Disney World is just beginning to ramp up its celebration in EPCOT. There has been special merchandise, decor, and entertainment to commemorate this big milestone. But soon, Disney will also be celebrating with you at home!
Disney will be hosting “The Wonderful World of Disney: Disney’s 100th Anniversary Celebration” on ABC on Sunday, October 15th, from 8-10:30PM EDT. Kelly Ripa will host the evening, which will begin with an episode of America’s Funniest Home Videos.

Disney has also teased that we’ll get some sneak peeks of upcoming projects that evening! Oh, and we’ll even get to see Encanto aired on ABC. But viewers will also be treated to the premiere of the NEW original animated short film Once Upon a Studio. Disney just released the trailer for this new short, and we dare you not to chuckle!

The trailer features beloved characters Mickey, Minnie, and Tinker Bell getting the ‘gang’ together for picture time. You then see many Disney characters make their appearance! Moana and Flounder are brought in by Water. Christopher Robbin is seen pulling Pooh out of a picture frame. Villains begin joining (but don’t worry, not Hans!). There are old and new characters coming out of the woodwork (literally).
Make it Pink, Make it Blue!
It looks like a heart-warming celebration of all the Disney movies that we have come to love. If that trailer puts a smile on your face, then you’re going to want to tune in to see the whole short. Make sure you check out ABC’s Disney100 celebration on your TV or app to catch this tribute to past, present, and future Disney! It airs Sunday, October 15th!
