Well, EPCOT is changing a LOT today!!!

That’s because Disney’s 100th Anniversary Celebration has made its way to the park. That means we’ll be seeing some NEW Spaceship Earth lighting, Mickey and Minnie will show up in their special anniversary outfits, the Disney100 Mickey Balloon Popcorn bucket will arrive, and more! But we’re especially excited about another new addition to EPCOT.

A brand new Mickey statue has made its way to EPCOT. You’ll find this Platinum Mickey statue celebrating Disney’s 100 Years of Wonder in World Celebration in front of Spaceship Earth. The statue aptly states, “It was all started by a mouse.”

Isn’t it great?!

This new statue actually has a twin! You can find a similar platinum Mickey Mouse figure over in Disneyland Resort. But there’s something about that classic Spaceship Earth in the background that works really well with this statue, don’t you think? Maybe it’s all the round shapes.

This will be GREAT for photos, right?

So, if you’re headed to EPCOT, be sure to take a moment to admire the new Mickey statue and get a photo (or even a selfie) with it! We’ll be checking out all the 100th Anniversary offerings at EPCOT, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
