Why Disney Fans Should Mark Their Calendars For December 1st

Among Disney’s recent merchandise releases, one of the most popular is the Lorcana trading card game.

Initially, these trading cards were announced at the Destination D23 event in Fall 2022, and they were available to purchase by D23 members present at the event, with the exception of the Mickey promo card — which was free. These cards sold out QUICK, and we eventually saw some sold on eBay for as much as $35,000. (Yep, you read that correctly. THREE zeroes.) Eventually, the card game was released to the public to buy online and in shops around the park. These sold out just as fast and were VERY popular. Now though, we have some more news regarding Lorcana!

Disney shared that two new editions of Lorcana would arrive online at shopDisney on December 1st! You’ll probably want to go ahead and mark your calendars, because the records tell us that these will likely sell out QUICK. 😳

Currently, there isn’t an option to pre-order the cards, which makes the situation even more nerve-racking for Disney and Lorcana fans.

The new card sets are Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn and Disney Lorcana: Disney100 Edition from Ravensburger.
