Something NEW Has Arrived at EPCOT's Food & Wine Festival 👀 and We're Seriously Excited

September 22nd cannot get here fast enough!

EPCOT Food & Wine Festival

September in general is actually a BIG month for Disney World. During that month, the 100th Anniversary celebration will “officially” kick off in Disney World with more additions at EPCOT, like a platinum Mickey statue and a new Spaceship Earth lighting show. But it’ll also mark the opening of some very special things at EPCOT’s International Food & Wine Festival!

While we were walking around EPCOT recently, we spotted a NEW booth that had been placed around World Showcase lagoon!

There It Is!

According to a Cast Member we spoke to, the booth will become the new home of Char & Chop — one of the BRAND NEW food booths coming to the 2023 Food & Wine Festival. Keep in mind, this is just what a Cast Member told us and things are subject to change.

The booth is located right along the start of World Showcase, as you walk down the center pathway and hang a left. According to the Cast Member, it’ll be across from Disney Traders once completed. Char & Chop is marked as spot #32 in the map below so you can get a better feel for where it’ll be.

Char & Chop is set to open on September 22nd, 2023. Here’s a look at its full menu:

Food Items:

Roasted Porchetta with lemon-parsley salsa verde and shaved fennel salad (New)
Grilled IMPOSSIBLE Spicy Sausage with herbed polenta, puttanesca sauce, and ricotta (New)
Meat Assorti: Trio of shaved meats with baby arugula, pickled mustard seeds, truffle oil, and grilled ciabatta (New)

Beverages:

Krombacher Pilsner (New)
North Coast Laguna Baja Vienna Lager (New)

Three other NEW food booths will open on the same day — September 22nd — as part of the Food & Wine Festival and 100th Anniversary celebrations.

One of those new booths could be located at the former Traveler’s Cafe location (old Starbucks). We’re continuing to look for updates there.
