When it comes to food (and everything else), something is ALWAYS changing in Disney World.
We’re always seeing favorite foods go away. But we’re also seeing new foods turning up on menus. We also get some great seasonal snacks. What we’re trying to say is that menu changes are going to happen. Sometimes those changes mean price increases, though, and one EPCOT restaurant saw plenty of that this week.
So we’re headed BACK to the Japan Pavilion to tell you all about it. So, we were previously visiting Japan’s NEWEST restaurant Shiki-Sai Izakaya and Sushi, but this time, we’re headed to Teppan Edo, where we’ve seen some menu changes, including price increases.
Here are all the price increases we found at Teppan Edo for appetizers.
- Edamame changed from $6 to $8
- Miso Soup changed from $4 to $6
- Volcano Roll changed from $20 to $22
- Spicy Roll changed from $14 to $15
- California Roll changed from $14 to $15
- Sushi Sampler changed from $15 to $16
Also, Assorted Tempura is no longer available, but some new menu items have been added:
- ADDED: Soy Butter Calamari — grilled ika steak tossed with butter shoyu sauce for $16
- ADDED: Takoyaki — 6 pc. octopus fritters topped with tonkatsu sauce, bonito flakes, and nori for $10
We also saw some price increases for entrees and combinations:

- Ebi changed from $33 to $35
- Tori changed from $32 to $34
- Asakusa changed from $44 to $46
- Nihonbashi changed from $43 to $45
Some of the add-ons also changed:
- Japanese Wagyu Strip changed from $100 to $120
- Lobster Tail changed from $14 to $15
Even the kid’s menu saw one price increase: Salmon changed from $20 to $22. However, some new kid’s menu items were added:
- Julienned Steak — 4 oz. sliced beef strips served with garden salad, seasonal vegetables, udon noodles, and steamed white rice for $26
- Yasai — seasonal vegetables, mushrooms, and tofu served with garden salad, seasonal vegetables, udon noodles, and steamed white rice for $16
Want a non-alcoholic drink? Two will now cost more:

- Ramune changed from $6 to $8
Even beer is more expensive now:
- Kirin Draft 20oz changed from $12 to $14
- Sapporo Premium 20oz changed from $12 to $14
- Kirin Light 12-oz changed from $8 to $12
- Beer Shandy 12oz changed from $12 to $14
A beers was also removed: Asahi Draft 20oz. Also, the Premium Beer Tasting is no longer available.
The following cocktails also now cost more:

- Toki – Single changed from $16 to $15
However, the price of a Toki – Double went up from $24 to $28.
