NEWS: Ahsoka Is Coming to Disney's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

Okay, Star Wars fans, we’ve got some HUGE news to share with you.

So we know you’re all excited about the upcoming Ahsoka series on Disney+ (so are we!). We’ve already seen some new Ahsoka merchandise popping up online. We’ve also seen some new Ahsoka Loungefly bags for sale. Well, something BIGGER than that is coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge: Ahsoka herself will soon be wandering around Batuu.

Disney just announced that those who visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland may soon encounter Ahsoka there. Yes, Ahsoka is officially coming to Disneyland as a character! So if you’re a huge Star Wars fan, you’ll need to keep an eye out for her.

Ahsoka will be seen in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge starting on August 23rd. Although Disney didn’t elaborate on her appearance, it seems she may be a wandering character that guests can encounter randomly, much like the Mandalorian and Grogu. Yes, you’ll be able to meet her the day after the new Ahsoka series premieres on Disney+ (with TWO episodes).

We stopped by Disneyland and a Cast Member told us that the times for Ahsoka’s appearances aren’t published, but she generally appears for about a half hour and then is gone for a half hour, on repeat throughout the day. Note that this could change in the future, so check with Cast Members when you visit!

So watch the show on Disney+ and then head to Disneyland to meet her in person. How cool is that?

If you’re wondering if Ahsoka is coming to Disney World, though, we don’t have any kind of indication of that yet, but we’ll keep an eye out for details if it DOES happen. Seriously, though, Disneyland gets ALL the cool characters. But, hey, if Mando and Grogu can make it to Florida, maybe Ahsoka can, too?
