Marvel has really found its place in Disney Parks, especially at Disney’s California Adventure.

Avengers Campus
Opening on June 4th, 2021, Avengers Campus has become wildly popular. It has fun snacks, real superheroes, and the COOLEST Spider-Man animatronic we’ve EVER seen. You can meet Marvel characters, and there’s even a new ride coming in the future. But one Marvel attraction will be closing, for good, soon.
We’re talking about Rogers: The Musical, the fictional Broadway musical that first appeared in the Disney+ Hawkeye series. The musical focuses on the story of the first Captain America, Steve Rogers. The show was an instant hit when audiences first saw it on Disney+, so naturally, many people were excited to learn that it was coming to life at California Adventure. The show opened on June 30th.

Rogers The Musical at the Hyperion Theater
However, the show was always meant to be a limited-time offering. It will wrap on August 31st. With the show, we got new snacks and merchandise. The show was highly anticipated, and it uses a Virtual Queue system. Each day that the musical is performing, the Virtual Queue will open at 10:30AM PT for the first two show times of that day and at 2PM PT for the remaining shows that day.

Rogers the Musical
You still have time to catch the show until August 31st! But don’t miss out — because we have no way of knowing if Disneyland will ever bring the show back.
UPDATE: After this post was published, Disney confirmed to the OC Register that “‘Rogers: The Musical’ will end its summer run on Aug. 31 and the limited-time engagement at the Hyperion Theater won’t be extended at this time.” Disney officials also said, “While some entertainment at the Disneyland resort returns after an initial run, others open and close as dedicated limited-time offerings.”
As far as what might replace the show, Disney apparently has no immediate plans: “At the moment, nothing new is scheduled to replace ‘Rogers’ in the Hyperion Theater. It took six months to prepare ‘Rogers’ for its Hyperion debut — so it’s unlikely anything new will be moving into the 2,000-seat theater this year.”
