Okay, so although you KNOW we’re obsessed with Disney food, we’ll admit we have a bit of a McDonald’s obsession, too.
Yes, we got that adult Happy Meal when it was available. And you BET we picked up that Pumpkin Pail Happy Meal when McDonald’s brought it back just in time for Halloween in 2022. Did we get a Grimace Shake? Yes, we did. But now, McDonald’s has a fun DEAL it’s sharing — but you’ll have to grab it in a few specific locations.
So if you’re a football fan, you know football season starts SOON, and in honor of that, according to ABC12 News, McDonald’s has partnered with the Detroit Lions to offer a special deal for Lions fans. It works like this: every time the Lions grab an interception, customers can hop on the Mcdonald’s mobile app the next day and get a buy one, get one free Big Mac offer.
Of course, you’ll have to live in Michigan to nab that deal. McDonald’s locations across mid-Michigan will also be offering a special Lions Bundle Box that includes two Big Macs, a 20-piece Chicken McNuggets, and two medium fries. The meals will come in a Lions-themed box and will be available to order as of August 22nd through the end of the season — or until supplies run out.
The Detroit Lions aren’t the only team getting in on the action, though. The Indianapolis Colts have also partnered with McDonald’s for a similar offer. According to Fox59, fans can get a buy-one-get-one-free Big Mac deal if the Colts make a field goal. If the Colts split the uprights in ANY game throughout the season, the offer is available on the McDonald’s app the day after the game.
There will also be a Colts Bundle Box that features two Big Mac Sandwiches, an order of 20-piece McNuggets, and two medium fries. It will come in a Colts-themed box and will be available at participating restaurants as of August 22nd, every day of the week until the end of the season (while supplies last).
So if you live in Michigan or Indiana, be sure to check out those special offers during football season. We’ll keep an eye out for more McDonald’s news AND Disney news, so stay tuned to DFB for more!
