Breakfast Has CHANGED at Friar's Nook in Magic Kingdom – We LOVE This Upgrade!

So how do you handle breakfast when you visit Disney World?

Do you have breakfast at your hotel before you hit the parks? Or do you get to the parks and grab something quick while you’re on the go in between rides? There are a lot of breakfast options in Magic Kingdom, including character dining. But there are also some great quick options that you may not know about. One of those quick breakfast options, though, just got WAY better.

So let’s head into Fantasyland and visit Friar’s Nook. Previously, you could get a Breakfast Sandwich there, which featured Bacon, Egg, and Cheddar served on a Multigrain Croissant with Tots. Well, that Breakfast Sandwich is now Sausage, Egg, and Cheddar served on a Pretzel Bun with Tots for $9.25.

New Breakfast Sandwich

We’ll just let you know right now — the new Breakfast Sandwich is a HUGE improvement. In the past, the sandwich usually came with a croissant that was dry and disappointing. The pretzel bun works SO much better — it’s dense and bready but still nice and soft.

We also loved the flavorful sausage, which was tender. The eggs were light and fluffy. That, paired with the bold flavor of the cheddar, made for the perfect breakfast sandwich. We will say, though, that we wished this was a little bigger, but it does come with tots, so it’s still pretty filling. If you’re looking for a quick way to fuel up in Magic Kingdom, this is a great option.

Of course, if you prefer the old Breakfast Sandwich on the Croissant, this may not be your thing, but we really do feel like this was a much-needed upgrade.
