We may not be able to block the sun from beating down on you, and we can’t wave a magic wand to make the crowds disappear, but there are a few things we can do to make your trip to Disney World a little better.

Even Disney experts have a few pet peeves when it comes to the parks and resorts! The truth is, there are some unavoidable annoyances that we all encounter in Disney World — there’s just no escaping things like paying to skip the line these days. That said, we can help you navigate three common problems that pretty much everyone hates. Let’s break it down!
1. Prices
Good luck finding someone who says, “I LOVE paying more for my Disney World vacation!” That person does not exist because no one likes paying more to go to Disney. So, what can you do to combat the rising costs?

2. Waiting for the Bus
If you’re traveling to the Disney World parks by bus, you might find yourself waiting around for a bus to show up for quite a while. Especially if you were hoping to use the buses in the middle of the afternoon. While most Disney hotel bus stops have signs that give an estimated wait time, those numbers aren’t always super accurate. Honestly, we hate waiting for the bus.

All-Star Movies
If you’re in a rush to get to a dining reservation, lightning lane return time, or any other kind of reservation, we recommend skipping the bus altogether. Instead, you might want to drive (if you have a car) or use a rideshare service. If you don’t want to pay to use a rideshare service, you could also try your luck waiting for the monorail, a boat, or the Skyliner, depending on your location. The point is, the Disney World bus service is notoriously inconsistent, so either get to the bus stop early or find a more efficient way to get where you need to go.
3. HUGE Crowds
Every night, like clockwork, the Main Street, U.S.A. hub fills with people waiting for the nightly fireworks show. The same thing happens over in EPCOT around the World Showcase. We HATE fireworks crowds — they can be pretty stressful to navigate!

Those fireworks crowds can be a bit much
Our best advice? Either 1.) Stake out a spot extra early or 2.) Watch the fireworks from a totally different (less crowded) location. There are actually lots of great places to see the fireworks in Magic Kingdom besides the typical Main Street location. If you head over to the area by Bonjour! Village Gifts in Fantasyland, you get a great view of the fireworks without the crowds. If you hate crowds, we recommend going to the back Fantasyland to watch the show.

Like we said, there may be some things we hate about Disney World, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still have a great time in the parks! With a little patience and some smart planning, you can solve even the most annoying problems! In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
