Something NEW Has Arrived at Tiana's Palace Restaurant

A NEW restaurant themed to The Princess and the Frog is coming to Disneyland Park and we’ve got some exciting news about it!

Tiana’s Palace is currently under construction and set to open at Disneyland Park later in 2023. It will feature authentic New Orleans flavors in a Quick Service style restaurant. It is replacing the former French Market Restaurant. We previously got a peek at one of the signs for this new spot, but now something else has arrived!

While we were strolling through Disneyland recently, we spotted something NEW at the construction spot for Tiana’s Palace — a brand NEW sign and some decor for the restaurant.

…and here’s what they look like now. We can see that the canopy is in place, the Tiana’s Palace sign is up, and there are some decorative pieces exposed toward the top of the building too.

…which does seem to capture the essence of the sign Disney had shared in their concept art.

You can also get a closer look at those decorative pieces on the top. It looks like the concept art may have featured a “TP” marking in the center (for Tiana’s Palace), but now it seems to just have a “T” for Tiana.

The signage we previously saw elsewhere at the restaurant is also still up (near the Mobile Order area).

The menu will feature an expansion on some favorites previously served here, along with other dishes that explore the seasonal flavors of New Orleans classics. Also note that the Mint Julep Bar, which was located in the French Market, is closed for the time being but is set to reopen and serve its famous beignets and Mint Juleps in the future.
