REVIEW: This May Be Our Favorite EPCOT Festival Booth and It's Not Even a Festival Booth

If you’re a big fan of poutine, you’ll need to make sure to stop into the Refreshment Port booth! This year they’ve got new offerings and changes to familiar favorites!

2023 Refreshment Port

It’s officially time for the 2023 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, which means lots of food booths, merchandise, and more. We’re checking it all out, and now we’re heading to Refreshment Port to let you know whether or not it’s worth a visit!

Eats

First up, we grabbed the Braised Beef Poutine. This one is made of French Fries with braised beef, Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese sauce, cheese curds, crumbled Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs, and gherkin relish. This item cost $10. This is a returning item for the festival from years past and we’ve really enjoyed it before.

Last year we really liked how big the portion size was and the savor taste was a welcomed change to all the sweet and sugary treats we’d had through the day. This year we felt much of the same — it was so savory and rich. The meat just falls apart and easily melts in your mouth. The flavor mixes so well with the cheesy, herby Boursin cheese, and when you get a crispy french fry all in one bite — it’s basically perfection. The fries got soggier the longer the dish sat, but it was still delicious.

The relish adds a nice acidity to the dish that helps cut through how buttery and rich the rest of this poutine is. We’d eat this 100 times over!

You can also grab the Traditional Poutine French Fries for $7.50 at this booth. This is French Fries topped with Beef Gravy, Cheese Curds, and Crumbled Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs.

Although we’ve seen this one in the past, this year EPCOT has switched up the ingredients on us.

Drinks

Then, there’s the Florida Orange Groves Winery Sparkling Peach for $11. This one is actually new this year, and it was so refreshing! It’s incredibly delicate and light, which makes for a nice change from the poutine. It’s not too heavy and would make for a nice beverage to sip on a hot EPCOT day.

You can also snag the Boulevard Brewing Co. Quirk Pineapple Orange Whip Hard Seltzer for $11.25. This one is a returning menu item for the festival. Lastly, this booth offers the CORKCICLE Stemless Flute.

OVERALL

Stop by Refreshment Port if you love poutine and are looking for an updated take on what you might be used to! There are a few different seltzers available here as well for folks who may not be into beer or wine. Compared to other booths, though, there aren’t as many offerings here, so keep that in mind. Ultimately, it’s a good spot for a filling snack — and who can beat that?!
