Disney World is expensive as is, but don’t get us started on some of the food prices.
But honestly, some of these prices are worth the money for some people on vacation. For example, if you’re someone who really loves food, some of Disney’s most expensive restaurants may be worth it to you. Since we’re Disney Food Blog, we’ve got a list of 6 restaurants that we’re willing to splurge on in Disney World.
Takumi Tei
Might as well start off with the big bucks, right? Takumi Tei is one of Disney’s most expensive restaurants, but not only that, one of the dining experiences we’ve been the most impressed with.
This is located in EPCOT’s Japan Pavilion, and it’s known for being a $300-$400 Japanese restaurant experience. We’ve been immensely impressed by our meals here and highly recommend it to those looking for a true signature dining experience. It’s a great once-in-a-lifetime experience and worth the effort to save up for a meal here if you’re an adventurous eater. Be sure to check the calendar before you make your plans, though; this restaurant does not have normal operating hours, and availability is limited.

Victoria & Albert’s
Speaking of signature dining, we’ve also enjoyed our meals at Victoria & Albert’s in the past.
This restaurant has a AAA five-diamond rating and has been recognized by the Michelin Guide. Throughout your meal, you will be served by two dedicated servers and treated to personalized menus. There are three different dining experiences depending on the room you dine in: The Dining Room, Queen Victoria’s Room, and The Chef’s Table. If you’re looking for an elegant, personalized dining experience, you can pay extra for the Chef’s Table, a special experience that lets guests watch the chefs prepare the meals for the night while working with them to create their own menu. This is a very expensive place to eat, but if you’re looking to splurge, this is the place to do it.

Steakhouse 71
Over at the Contemporary Resort, we also recommend Steakhouse 71.
This restaurant opened on the 50th Anniversary of Disney World, and while it’s known as a more casual dining option that’s open for all three meals of the day, it’s still an expensive meal. Dinner is the most expensive (and fanciest) of the three different meals here, as the restaurant takes on more of a steakhouse feel in the evening. If you’re looking for a great meal just steps from Magic Kingdom, we suggest keeping this one in mind as one of your table service meals.

Storybook Dining at Artist’s Point
In terms of a quality character meal, we recommend Storybook Dining at Artist’s Point!
This meal features Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and The Evil Queen! It is a prix-fixe meal, but we think it’s one of the best character meals out there that actually has great food AND a wonderful character experience. It’s located in Wilderness Lodge, which is a popular hotel among many guests. If you’re only planning on doing one character meal, we highly recommend considering this one.

Topolino’s Terrace
Topolino’s Terrance is a great choice for those who want a character breakfast with great food or a wonderful lunch or dinner with gorgeous views of Disney World!
Breakfast is an à la carte prix-fixe meal, while lunch and dinner take on more of a sophisticated feel. Not only that, but you can see the EPCOT fireworks at night from the gorgeous windows or can even take your drinks out on the rooftop to see them closer. Don’t forget about this one — it may be your favorite meal of the trip!

Cinderella’s Royal Table
And we’re ending on a controversial take, so hear us out — we actually recommend Cinderella’s Royal Table under certain circumstances.
Now listen, the food here is nothing special. So why do we recommend it? This is an amazing experience for the atmosphere and the characters you get to meet. Not only do you get to meet Cinderella, but you can also meet lots of other Princesses as well, which is so magical. We say that this is an experience everyone should have once if they can, but it’s a one-and-done type of experience. Don’t go here expecting any award-winning food; we recommend this place for the ambiance (and the bragging rights of saying you ate INSIDE the Cinderella Castle).
