There are a lot of reasons to visit Disney Springs. You can shop, dine, bowl, and even catch a movie there.

Churro Pop
But did you know there are some sneaky good snacks you can find here? On a recent trip to Disney Springs, we got to try TWO new Churro treats from Sunshine Churros. We also tried a new menu item from Earl of Sandwich. And we couldn’t leave without trying a new frozen dessert served in a pineapple. Yeah, it’s served inside a pineapple.
We headed to Vivoli il Gelato at Disney Springs to try the Stuffed Pineapple for $14. This is a natural Pineapple Shell filled with your choice of sorbet. You can choose any sorbet from pineapple, strawberry, lemon, orange, mango, or blueberry to fill the pineapple with, and we chose strawberry. It’s pink!

Sorbet in a Pineapple
Ok, so it’s a large snack. As in, it’s a half pineapple full of sorbet. The pineapple itself was actually frozen, which helped keep the sorbet cold for a longer period of time in the Florida heat. As Disney snack lovers who constantly battle with fast-melting desserts, we really appreciated that frozen pineapple insulation. However, since the pineapple is frozen, don’t anticipate being able to eat the pineapple itself — unless you’re willing to hack at it.

It’s huge!
Not only is the snack adorable to look at, but it was also delicious. The strawberry sorbet was very fresh, and we could taste that real strawberries were blended in. It was creamy and fruity. If you’re a fan of fresh sorbet and love fruit desserts, this is for you.

Dig in!
However, $14 is a lot for a snack, and if you don’t love sorbet, this might be a skip. On the other hand, it is easy to share, and you get a lot of sorbet, so that is a positive.

It’s so pretty!
If you are looking for something fruity to cool you off in this Flordia heat, this might be for you. For more Disney World snack reviews, be sure to follow us at DFB.
