There are only 7 days (!!) left until the absolute BEST day of the year in Disney World, and we could not be more excited. No, we’re not talking about Dole Whip Day or even Christmas (although both are super fun occasions). What we’re looking forward to is even BETTER.

Next Thursday, July 27th, is the first day of the 2023 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival!! The festival runs through November 18th.

This annual festival in EPCOT brings more than 25 food booths (called Festival Marketplaces) to the park, each of which serves unique and tasty eats and drinks.

There are even four NEW booths coming in 2023, but those won’t open until September 22nd.

Mexico Booth Items 2022

Delicious food isn’t the only fun part of this festival, though. The Eat to the Beat Concert Series is a popular event at the America Gardens Theatre. These concerts are free with EPCOT admission and take place three times per evening — at 5:30PM, 6:45PM, and 8PM. Iconic bands and artists can be seen performing Fridays through Mondays, while local bands will perform Tuesday through Thursday evenings.

Eat to the Beat Dining Packages will return for 2023 as well. Purchasing a dining package saves your seat at the concert that day and also gets you a meal (for breakfast, lunch, or dinner) at an EPCOT restaurant.

There are some NEW things coming in 2023, too! One of the new things we’re most excited about is the Muppet Labs experience at the Odyssey pavilion! At this indoor booth, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker will join the festival as the taste-testers in residence, where they will be taste-testing the flavors of tomorrow and today!

Remy’s Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt and Emile’s Fromage Montage (the CHEESE CRAWL) are returning in 2023 as well.

If you’re visiting the festival later in the year, you can check out Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, another family-friendly activity, which will return from September 29th through October 31, 2023.
