There’s a BIG holiday coming up in Disney World this week.
Yep, we’re talking about the Fourth of July, which will bring some new excitement to Disney World. There will be an addition to EPCOT Forever over in EPCOT to celebrate, and Magic Kingdom will have a SPECIAL patriotic fireworks display. There are also special snacks to check out that were made especially for the holiday. However, if you wanted to BE in Magic Kingdom for the fourth, we’ve got some bad news.
If you were planning to head on over to Magic Kingdom for the Fourth of July and you have not yet made a park pass reservation for Magic Kingdom, you won’t be able to visit the park. That’s because the 4th of July is completely “sold out” at Magic Kingdom, meaning that the park has reached capacity for the day. This is for those who have tickets, as well as those staying at Disney resort hotels.
We also checked to see what the situation is for those who have Annual Passes, and well…Magic Kingdom reservations are unavailable on the Fourth of July for those with an Incredipass…
…and those with a Sorcerer Pass.
Note that the other two passes, Pirate and Pixie Dust, already had the fourth blocked out. However, all other parks are still available for the Fourth. If you want to get in on some Fourth of July celebrations, though, you can still visit EPCOT to watch the special Fourth of July edition of EPCOT Forever, so that’s always a good alternative if you are planning on visiting Disney World over the holiday.
This is why it is important to make those park pass reservations as soon as you can, especially if you’re visiting on a busy day like a holiday.
We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more Disney news, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
