It’s no surprise that things change in Disney World.

Hello, EPCOT!
The only thing predictable about Disney World is that it is always changing. We recently saw a pizza spot temporarily close and a Disney World restaurant added two NEW menu items — which we, of course, had to try. Just this week we saw bathrooms being renovated at EPCOT. And now, this popular restaurant at EPCOT is not above changes either.
Le Cellier Steakhouse can be found in the Canada Pavillion of the World Showcase in EPCOT. This well-loved restaurant is designed to look like a “cozy cellar of a Canadian château” and is known for fantastic (if a bit pricey) food as well as great service. Many of our readers enjoy this steakhouse and put it on their must-do during their trip.

In fact, we were JUST at this restaurant recently when we went to try some new menu items. But a few dessert menu changes sounds like just the excuse we need to go back AGAIN, right?
There were a few menu changes to the Dessert menu. Let’s take a look:
- REMOVED: Carrot Cake
- REMOVED: Chocolate Caramel Bar
- ADDED: Chocolate Mousse for $13
- ADDED: Strawberry-Vanilla-Coconut Creme for $12
These changes were also made to the Allergy-Friendly Dessert menu.

Goodbye to the Chocolate Caramel Bar
As we mentioned before, these aren’t the only menu changes to hit Le Cellier recently. The steakhouse has replaced its Mushroom Bisque with a Corn Bisque for $13, and we gave it a try! It’s made with Triple Sweet Corn, Potatoes, and Crème Fraîche.

We also tried a couple of other new items — The Canadian Tourtiere for $34 and the Grilled U-10 Wild Caught Scallops for $51. We loved the Scallops — they were huge, slightly sweet, and extremely buttery — they really melt right in your mouth. We also thought the Toirtiere was an option worth considering if you are a fan of complex and rustic flavors, as well as sweet and savory combinations.

So if you have a sweet tooth and want to try out the new desserts (or any of the new menu items), head over to the Canada pavilion and let us know what you think about them.
