Ever since we found out that Disney has a Hocus Pocus 3 in the works, we’ve been buzzing with excitement. We’re ready to light the Black Flame Candle all over again!

Let’s face it, Hocus Pocus and now Hocus Pocus 2 are Halloween staples, movies you just HAVE to watch during the spooky season. Although Disney hasn’t yet released many details on the third movie in the franchise, at least one of the original Hocus Pocus stars would like to return.
Omri Katz, who starred as Max in the first Hocus Pocus movie, told Entertainment Weekly that he would be up for a return to his role in Hocus Pocus 3. “I’m excited for the new film!” he wrote in an email.

“Yes, I would return if Disney approached me,” he says. “It would be an honor to return, hopefully with some of my fellow castmates, and make a fun addition to the franchise!”

Hocus Pocus 2 chose not to bring the original cast back, save for Doug Jones as Billy Butcherson, as well as Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica-Parker as the Sanderson Sisters. Instead, Hocus Pocus 2 introduced us to some new teenagers who unknowingly bring the Sanderson Sisters back from the dead in Salem.

Again, Disney has not yet released any information on what the third movie might be about, but the company has brought back Hocus Pocus 2 director Anne Fletcher to helm the third movie. We think it could be nice to catch up with Max, Dani, and Allison since the events of the first movie, though, so, Disney, if you’re paying attention…
