Serious question: what do they put in Disney popcorn buckets to make them so popular? Magic? Are we missing something? Okay, we will admit that Disney has come up with some pretty cute popcorn buckets in the past. Most recently, a 100th Anniversary Cinderella Carriage popcorn bucket SOLD OUT in a matter of days. What’s the secret, Disney?

Figment Popcorn Bucket
While the great popcorn bucket craze is a relatively new phenomenon, you may have been a popcorn bucket collector YEARS before Disney caught on. Forget the theme parks — let’s talk about movie theater popcorn buckets for a second. Spoiler alert: we might like them even MORE than some of those wacky Disney buckets! (Controversial, right?!)
As you probably have heard by now, Disney is releasing a new live-action remake of The Little Mermaid. The movie is premiering in theaters SOON — and you can even catch a preview in Disney’s Hollywood Studios right now!

Will you be headed to theaters to see ‘The Little Mermaid’?
Going to see the movie? Read this FIRST! Select AMC theaters are offering an exclusive The Little Mermaid light-up popcorn bucket with popcorn for $24.99. The deal begins on May 25th, while supplies last.

Do ya hear that, Disney? It lights UP, gives you a TON of popcorn, AND costs less than some of your (smaller) popcorn buckets. Do we sense a showdown brewing?!

AMC in Disney Springs
You can check here to see the full list of theaters participating in the offer. If you happen to be in Disney World soon, the AMC at Disney Springs is on the list of participating theaters, so you can pick up a popcorn bucket right in Disney Springs!
