In case you’re unfamiliar, Gideon’s Bakehouse has locations both in Disney Springs and in Orlando’s East End Market. At the shop, you’ll find perfectly oversized cookies, cakes by the slice, frosting by the cup, coffee, and more — all nestled in a quaint shop with dark-academia vibes. Occasionally, the owner will whip out special recipes in honor of certain holidays, and today is no different. Let’s see what Gideon’s is up to today.

Today, May 22nd, is National Goth Day, which is right up this bakery’s alley. In honor of this holiday, Gideon’s is serving up Black Velvet Cake today only while supplies last. Let’s check it out!

This Black Velvet Cake is covered in black cream cheese frosting and layered with dark raspberry filling. It’s only available by the slice, and each customer is allowed two slices while supplies are available. Can we take a moment to just admire this cake?
