The Most Iconic Part of Cast Member Costumes Has CHANGED at Disney World

Cast Members who work for Disney Parks are AMAZING and each supports a pretty iconic look.

Sure, their outfits change from time to time, but each outfit is a reflection of where that Cast Member works, whether it be at an attraction (is there any outfit more iconic than the Haunted Mansion Cast Member one?), in a restaurant, or inside a store. But something recently changed for ALL Cast Member outfits in Disney World.

Way back in 2021, Cast Members got new name tags that reflected Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. Since then, they’ve been wearing those name tags. These name tags had Cinderella Castle on them with the 50th anniversary logo.

Well, the 50th anniversary is officially over, so those nametags are a little out of date. Disney World recently shared a tease of the new nametags for Cast Members, and now, we can finally see what these nametags look like!

The new nametags have Cinderella Castle at the top and say Walt Disney World on them. There’s also a gold star above the castle “representing cast members as the guiding light for The Most Magical Place on Earth.” Awwww…we love that!

We’re surprised they don’t match the Disneyland 100th Anniversary nametags that let Cast Members list their favorite Disney character on it.

Cast Members will be getting their new nametags in the mail soon, so you should start seeing them in Disney World soon, too! We’ll be keeping an eye out for the new nametags and let you know when we spot them. So stay tuned to DFB for more!
