Ever been on a body-jerking, back-breaking theme park ride? In Disney World, we tend to hobble off of Space Mountain — that ride is brutal on your back! Over in Disneyland, there’s one ride in particular that comes to mind when we’re talking about PAINFUL ride experiences. Can you guess what it is?

If you answered: The Matterhorn Bobsleds, you know what’s up. Speaking of the Matterhorn, we’ve got an update on the status of that classic Disney attraction!
On April 17th, the Matterhorn Bobsleds in Disneyland Park closed for refurbishment. Upon closing, Disney did not share an exact reopening date, so we weren’t sure exactly how long the attraction would be closed.
The Matterhorn is a Disneyland CLASSIC!
Now, it looks like Disney has updated its website with an important announcement. According to Disney, the Matterhorn Bobsleds attraction will reopen on June 2nd, 2023.

Luckily, it seems like this is just a short refurbishment, and the bobsleds will be back in action soon! In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more!
