Looking for new dining options in Disney World? You won’t have to look far! There are quite a few new restaurants, with even more on the way.

Disney Springs

You can check out Carousel Coffee or the Boardwalk Deli at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, or head over to EPCOT to dine at Connections Eatery and Space 220. A few upcoming places that we can’t WAIT to try out are Roundup Rodeo BBQ (in Disney’s Hollywood Studios), The Cake Bake Shop (at Disney’s Boardwalk), and Summer House on the Lake (at Disney Springs). Now, Disney has released more information about the FOOD that you’ll find at the new Disney Springs restaurant!

Summer House on the Lake is coming to Disney Springs in late 2023. This restaurant currently has locations in Chicago and North Bethesda, Maryland. Disney just announced some of the food that you’ll be able to find when this spot opens in Disney World!

Disney stated that the new restaurant’s menu is inspired by California flavors and features “simple, sustainable ingredients.” There will be pizza, pasta, fresh salads, sandwiches, and more. Some of the eats include salads like the Shaved Brussels Salad…

…the Wilshire Blvd Cobb Salad (could this give the famous Hollywood Brown Derby Cobb Salad a run for its money? Well have to wait and see!)…

There will also be small plates such as these Ahi Tuna Tostadas.

There will be lots of drinks available, including the exclusive Summer House Rosé and a selection of wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. 

Inside the restaurant will be The Cookie Jar, which is “a dessert-focused market” that serves “freshly baked cookies and house-made pastries.” You can even find MASSIVE cookies like the Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookie. We’re already huge fans of the giant cookies over at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs, so we can’t wait to see how these compare!

The restaurant itself “embodies a breezy, beach house vibe” that Disney says will “pair perfectly with the sweeping views of Lake Buena Vista.” You can check out some of the concept art here, which shows off the decor and an outdoor patio!
