Disney World’s most popular theme park is changing all the time, and there have been a couple of MAJOR updates recently that you’ll want to know about!

In the last couple of days, we heard about the return of a long-awaited opening-day attraction, spotted new 2023 Minnie ears, and found a popular new souvenir that we expect to sell out FAST. Check out all the latest updates here!

Magic Kingdom Attraction Update

The Walt Disney World Railroad is an opening-day attraction at Magic Kingdom that’s been closed for several years now. Disney has been making updates to the engines and tracks, but now the fan-favorite train ride finally has a reopening timeline!

The train is going to reopen in Magic Kingdom sometime this holiday season! We’ll be watching for a specific return date, but if you’ll be in Magic Kingdom soon, you may be able to ride the train once again.

When the train returns, there are a few updates to watch out for. There’s going to be a new voiceover dialogue, featuring a conductor who is carrying on “long tradition of warm welcomes and amusing anecdotes while adding fresh commentary and story to the journey.”

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates

The Emporium

At the huge Emporium gift shop on Main Street, U.S.A., we spotted Disney’s new 2023 Minnie ears headband!

These ears are clear with blue confetti inside and images of Cinderella Castle and fireworks on the outside. The orange bow in the middle has white polka dots. You can get them now for $34.99.

The Emporium also had Disney’s 100th Anniversary Starbucks Tumbler, which basically looks like Disney made a cup out of a disco ball. The tumbler is part of Disney’s 100th anniversary merchandise collection, which you can check out here.

The shiny silver tumbler costs $49.99 in the parks, and you can get it online at shopDisney as well!

We also spotted a new item in Disney’s holiday collection, which is a kitchen towel that says “Joy.”

Bonjour Village Gifts

Over at Bonjour Village Gifts in Fantasyland, there was a new painting!

The picture is titled “Chip & Dale” and was painted by David Buckley. You can purchase it for.$399
