We’ve got AWESOME news for Wine Bar George fans!
We always keep a close eye on all the new things happening in Disney Springs like new merchandise, new drinks, and new desserts, but what happens when a Disney Springs restaurant reaches OUTSIDE the Disney bubble? We’re about to find out because Wine Bar George has now opened up a second location in the Orlando International Airport!
Wine Bar George is a popular restaurant in Disney Springs (the shopping and dining location in Disney World), and now it has opened a second Orlando location. You can find this new Wine Bar George location in the new Terminal C of the Orlando International Airport. Similar to the Disney Springs location, this location offers 75 wines from all over the world available by the glass, bottle, and ounce!
The wine bar has 30 seats, which wrap around “a central wine display feature.” The food menu is led by Ron Rupert, the Director of Culinary Development for Wine Bar George, and includes breakfast, small plates, cheese, charcuterie, and entrees. Rupert said, “Our menu will feature both familiar items and new offerings suitable for the airport location. Guest favorites such as our chicken salad sandwich and house-made meatballs will be offered, as well as new items such as prosecco and white cheddar dip and a beef tenderloin sandwich with bacon jalapeño jam.”
Master Sommelier George Miliotes said, “In our new location we will have the same level of service that our guests have come to know and expect at Wine Bar George at Disney Springs. Guests interested in learning about and trying new wines will still be able to do so in the airport location. Whether you want to enjoy a Frosé or a couple of ounces of the greatest wines in the world before your flight, we’ll have something for everyone.”
Being in the MCO airport can be very stressful, and so can finding where to eat before your flight. We’re trying to make it as easy as possible for you with our list of what to eat at the Orlando airport. As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest MCO Airport and Disney news!
