There’s so much to do in Orlando during the holiday season — at Disney World alone, there are gingerbread displays, holiday snacks, a Christmas Tree Stroll, and the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays.
But you should make room in your holiday itinerary for something else in the area, too — the Give Kids The World’s Night of A Million Lights
The event was named “Number One Thing to Do in December in Orlando” by USA Today in 2020, and it has returned for another year. This event allows guests to walk through a village of festive holiday lights, complete with loads of fun displays.
Give Kids The World Village is a non-profit resort that provides accommodations for critically ill children and their families for week-long wish vacations at no cost. All proceeds from ticket sales of A Night of a Million Lights will go to the charity.
From now through January 1st, 2023, guests can visit A Night of a Million Lights, which will also feature nightly entertainment with Dueling Pianists Jingle and Jangle and a capella group Santa’s Dancing Reindeer. DJ Jack Frost will host an Ice Block party with music to dance to.
Interested in getting tickets? They’re on sale now HERE — tickets cost from $30 to $40 per adult and $15 to $20 for kids, depending on the night you plan on attending! This is one of the area’s do-not-miss events, and you’ll be helping a great charity organization in the process!
Want to get an idea of the light displays you could see? We visited a few years ago and took TONS of photos — check them out here. It really is SO beautiful and if you’re a fan of holiday lights, you should check it out!
