PHOTOS: See the FIRST 100th Anniversary Merchandise in Disney World!

This year surely went by in a flash! The 50th anniversary celebrations are winding down, and we are starting to see more and more in relation to Disney’s massive 100th anniversary party that kicks off in 2023.

We’ve been excited to see what Disney has in store for us when it comes to merchandise for the anniversary. We already saw some items at the D23 Expo this past summer, but what about in the parks?

Now, we are getting our first peek at a brand new collection from designer brand Dooney & Bourke! The brand, well-known for their high-quality bags and beautiful Disney-inspired pieces, can be found inside Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom. Recently, our reporters spotted this sign announcing Dooney & Bourke’s upcoming Platinum Collection for the Disney100 celebration!

We’re excited to see even more merch!

Beginning Monday, December 12th, you will be able to purchase these new bags at Uptown Jewelers. Inside the case, they have displayed 2 new pieces, both in a stunning silver-colored leather. It appears that the prints for this line will feature vintage designs of Mickey, Minnie, and other classic Disney characters. It also has an art deco vibe to it, no doubt a reference to the era when the Disney company was founded!

Two new bags!

One bag is a larger tote with a front zipper pocket. The leather tag hanging off one of the handles has a unique Disney100 stamp on it! The other is a smaller handbag that looks like it could also convert into a crossbody or over-the-shoulder purse. Based on other lines from Dooney & Bourke, there will probably be other items in this collection featuring this new print.

With this announcement, it seems like the 100th festivities are getting very close! While the official Disney100 won’t begin until January of 2023, it looks like we can start celebrating early.
