As we do every day, we’ve been walking around Disney World’s Parks and several resorts today, and we found a BIG crowd — but it’s not necessarily where you would expect!
Crowds in Disney World
While the wait times for Space Mountain and Splash Mountain are a pretty average 45 minutes at midday, we just discovered that the parking lot at a Disney World Resort has been closed because of the crowds inside!
Cast Members said so many people are visiting the Grand Floridian this afternoon, that the parking lot has closed temporarily.
The Grand Floridian Lobby seems even grand-er at Christmastime.
And where are the crowds? Found ’em! They are all waiting in line for sweet treats from the Gingerbread House!

In case you didn’t know, the Grand Floridian Gingerbread House is built in the lobby every holiday season, and serves as an entirely edible treat stand!
Look at that line!
If you must get to the Grand Floridian this afternoon, never fear! You can still get there by monorail, bus, or by taking a ride share. Just be prepared to wait if it’s a gingerbread treat you’re after! We’ve never seen a line like this!
