A NEW Light Show Will Debut in EPCOT For the Festival of the Holidays

It’s almost time for EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays, which kicks off on November 25th, 2022!

The festival will bring all kinds of holiday fun to EPCOT, including tons of food, entertainment, merchandise, and more, and a NEW light show will be making its debut at Spaceship Earth!

As part of Disney World’s 50th anniversary, Spaceship Earth debuted a new light show that’s part of Disney’s “Beacons of Magic.” This light show features an array of colorful illuminations, and we’ve also seen special sequences in past EPCOT festivals and holidays.

For the Festival of the Holidays, a brand new light show will be illuminated on Spaceship Earth! Disney announced that Walt Disney Imagineering has created a light display inspired by winter, with images such as candles, snowflakes, and northern lights.

Spaceship Earth is typically illuminated once the sun goes down in EPCOT, and you can catch the special light sequences at varying intervals. If you really want to see it once the Festival of the Holidays begins, hang out by Spaceship Earth for a bit when it’s dark!
