Is it an immersive ride like Rise of the Resistance in Disney World? Or maybe it’s something thrilling like VelociCoaster at Universal Orlando. But, what if we told you there was a new, award-winning attraction that features exciting technology like you’ve never seen? There is, and we’re sharing a behind-the-scenes look!
The minds behind the world’s greatest theme parks are constantly thinking of ways to innovate and bring the latest technologies to their lands. The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) recently awarded the World’s Best New Attraction designation to Tornado Chasers (or Chasseurs de Tornades.)

This new ride is located at Futuroscope Park in France, and features the world’s first Dynamic Motion Theater. What is a Dynamic Motion Theater? Think of it like The Carousel of Progress’ waaaaay cooler older brother.

Essentially, guests are sat in a theater with massive screens around them — but it isn’t just any theater, as the entire seating platform is able to rotate, tilt, move up and down, and more. That way, guests can really feel part of the tornado-chasing action.
