Even though it’s technically not even October yet, we can’t help but be excited about everything coming to Disney World for the holiday season!
Disney recently announced a whole bunch of news about the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, including which celebs will be narrating the Candlelight Processional, all the entertainment we can expect, and even which Holiday Kitchen food booths will be coming. Speaking of food booths, we learned that a NEW Holiday Kitchen is coming to the fest this year — and we’re sharing everything we know about Nochebuena Cocina!
The EPCOT Festival of the Holidays brings all sorts of festive entertainment, experiences, and of course — FOOD to Disney World, and we simply cannot wait. Each year, Holiday Kitchens serve up recipes and festive drinks from around the world, bringing cultural traditions together.
This year’s event kicks off on November 25th, and a NEW Holiday Kitchen is coming to the fest this year — the Latin-American-inspired Nochebuena Cocina!
We don’t know much about this Holiday Kitchen, but Disney did share that we can expect “traditional dishes served throughout the holiday season, including Pernil: Mojo pork with tostones, and Alfajores: vanilla shortbread cookies with Dulce de Leche and coconut.”
It sounds like we’ll get to sample both savory AND sweet at the Nochebuena Cocina booth. You’ll be able to find this Holiday Kitchen near Port of Entry in World Showcase — and you can be sure we’ll be bringing you our FULL review of this new booth as soon as it opens.
