You Won't Believe the CROWDS at Disney's Biggest Fan Event of the Year

The 2022 D23 Expo has finally taken place!

The D23 Expo is finally here!

We’ve already gotten so much exciting information, including updates about the Walt Disney statue coming to EPCOT, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (the Splash Mountain re-theme), and even details about new technology that could make it possible for us to meet and greet GIANT characters. Check out how the crowds looked this weekend!

We started off our weekend on Friday morning, waiting to get into the building. Just look at how many people are waiting for the Expo to start!

There were a ton of people crowding the doors waiting to be let into the Anaheim Convention Center, where the D23 Expo is held.

We also saw lots of people milling about outside of the convention center, deciding where they were going to go next.

Once we got inside, we headed over to the Star Wars exhibit to check out some of the costumes from the movies and shows, and there was a decent number of people there, too.

And then the crowds thinned out a little bit over by the Walt Disney Animation exhibit.

On Saturday, lines were pretty long to get through security.

The line for the “A Celebration of Disney Animation’s Encanto” Panel was surprisingly empty…

…but the panel had a full crowd!

And Sunday held one of the most highly-anticipated panels, “A Boundless Future: Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.” Needless to say, it drew quite a large crowd.
