Should You Order the New Starbucks Drink Instead of a Pumpkin Spice Latte in Disney World? We Found Out!

🎶 It’s most wonderful time of the year. 🎶

No, we’re not talking about the winter holidays — it’s Halloween time in Disney World! There are so many ways to celebrate this year including with themed treats, the return of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party, spotting decor, and so much more. One of the perks of the Disney Parks is that there is a Starbucks location in each one, and in case you didn’t mark it in your calendars, today is the day Starbucks releases their fall drinks! So we’re in the Magic Kingdom trying out a NEW Starbucks drink — come along with us!

Starbucks announced that they were bringing back the Pumpkin Spice Latte (of course) and the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, however there is also another non-pumpkin drink this year — the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato! This drink isn’t 100% new — Starbucks did create an Apple Crisp Macchiato last year, but this year it has been tweaked with the addition of Oatmilk and Blonde Espresso. We walked into Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom…

We placed our order and got our drinks iced. They’re gorgeous, but how do they taste?

Fall drinks are here!

Let’s start with the Apple Crisp drink. If you love an apple-based dessert like an apple pie, you will absolutely LOVE this drink. We could taste all of the flavors you’d find in an apple pie, but the addition of the oatmilk made it super creamy.

We also had to try the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato from the Starbucks fall menu 🍎 Apple, cinnamon, oats, and brown sugar flavors make up this fall drink ☕️

The flavor of the oatmilk was not overpowering — we really enjoyed the flavor balance between the creamy milk and the apple and brown sugar flavors!

So should you skip the Pumpkin Spice Latte for it? Well, it depends!

There’s a reason the crowds go wild for the Pumpkin Spice Latte. It’s something people look forward to every year and we understand why! There was plenty of pumpkin flavor and we noticed the hints of cinnamon and nutmeg in there. It’s like fall in a cup and had the perfect mix of fall flavors.

Our whipped cream on top melted pretty fast because even though we’re starting to celebrate fall, it is HOT in Florida. Nevertheless, the drink was still amazing! You really can’t go wrong with either of these drinks — it just depends on what kind of mood you’re in.
