If you can’t make it to Disney World, but want to feel like you’re there, then there are a few ways to lift your spirits!
Tangled Area in Fantasyland
You can make your favorite Disney recipe, stock up on some merchandise, watch a Disney movie, and more! If you’re at home, counting down the days until your next Disney World vacation, then we’ve got the perfect thing for you. Disney just shared a new DIY project inspired by the movie Tangled — let’s take a look!
For this project, you’re going to make your very own Tangled lantern!
Tangled lanterns
Before you begin, make sure to download the template (click here) to your computer to make the process easier. To get started, print the DIY template. Print it on yellow paper, if you can, to get the best effect.

Next, you’re going to cut the lantern out along the dotted line.

Once your lantern is cut out, write on the back of the paper what you’re most looking forward to doing on your next Disney vacation.

Then it’s time to make the lantern! Using glue or tape, you’re going to adhere the edges of the lantern together, covering the shaded area.

Now that you’ve got your edges stuck together, you should have something that looks like a lantern! To add to the effect, place the lantern over a flameless tea light candle.

And voila! You have a floating lantern of your very own!
