Did you know that Disney Springs has its very own speakeasy?
Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar and Restaurant is a Disney Springs bar and restaurant that is said to be located in what were once rum-running tunnels beneath Disney Springs. Enzo’s Hideaway serves Giggle Water (prohibition-era cocktails) and has a menu full of Roman dishes. This is also where you’ll find the monthly Smuggler’s Series, which is a returning event that celebrates a different spirit each month, and the next one is just around the corner!
This month’s Smuggler’s Series will be on August 16th from 4PM-6PM. August 16th also happens to be National Rum Day, so can you guess what spirit will be featured at the August Smuggler’s Series? If you guessed rum, you’d be right! The August series will be showcasing Flor de Caña Rum with a four-course meal (plus a digestif) each featuring a specialty cocktail — made with rum, of course.
Not only will you be able to eat some delicious food and drink various rum cocktails, but representatives from Flor de Caña Rum will also be available during the event to give guests a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into making rum.
Tickets to the event are $115 and are required for entry. You can purchase your tickets online at a website called Tock.
This isn’t the only event held at Enzo’s Hideaway! The Sunday Supper offering has made its return to the speakeasy, as well. Sunday Supper is a family-style, prix-fixe meal at Enzo’s Hideaway that serves up a ton of classic Italian foods.
If you’re looking for other options for some Italian food while you’re in Disney Springs, you can head over to the nearby Pizza Ponte or Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante for more options. And if you want to attend one of the Smuggler’s Series events but aren’t crazy about rum, September’s event will be all about gin. We’ve always got an eye on Disney food news and updates, so make sure to stay tuned to DFB for the latest!
