We tried to drown our sorrows in a Dole Whip or two…but no luck. We attempted to lift our spirits with a Happy Soft Serve Cone, but our treat ended up melting — just like our dream of a lifetime filled with Choco Tacos. But then, Salt & Straw emerged with some amazing news to share. Could it be…CHOCO TACOS?!
October 4th is National Taco Day. And while this isn’t traditionally a holiday you celebrate with ice cream, Salt & Straw knew we needed the pick-me-up. And how do you cure a Choco Taco drought? With something mega similar to a Choco Taco, of course! Check out Salt & Straw’s Instagram post announcing their Choco Taco:
YUP. Salt & Straw will bring the heat this National Taco Day with their Chocolate Tacolates. Their Choco Taco is a handmade waffle cone shaped like a taco shell, stuffed with cinnamon ancho ice cream, dipped in chocolate, and sprinkled with flaky salt.

So, if you’re hoping to taste a Choco Taco again, head to your nearest Salt & Straw on October 4th!
