There’s a ton of new food hitting EPCOT, thanks to the 2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival!

2022 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival
We’ve happily tried new foods and drinks at booths like The Alps, Brazil, China, and more! And while we were munching our way through the festival’s offerings, we couldn’t help but notice the return of a soft serve at one of the locations. And, of course, we had to give it a taste!
During our visit to the Refreshment Port, we tried the Soft Serve Apple Cinnamon Waffle Cone for $5.75. The Cast Member who took our order recommended that we get the soft serve in a cup, due to how runny it was. And uhh — we’re glad we followed their advice, because this thing basically came out melted.

Cinnamon Apple Waffle Cone…In a Cup
This treat was like a cup of fall, packed with a light cinnamon flavor and a hint of apple. And, thanks to the bowl, we dunked the cone into the soft serve like it was a bowl of nachos. Also — somehow, even though the treat was quickly melting, it was still super icy and cold…like almost too cold to eat. And it wasn’t very creamy either.

Melted Treat
Overall, if you’re a fan of fall flavors — this is for you! When this was released last year, we actually hacked this treat and we still think that hack is a total upgrade worth trying out. We actually headed on over to Canada and added some Maple popcorn to our cone.
You can read more about that snack hack here!!
If you’re looking for a creamier treat that won’t melt instantly, you might want to look somewhere else. For other treats, check out some of the dole whips you can get for Disney Springs’ Flavors of Florida. Or, check out the new Rock Road Chocolate Cake from the Flavors from Fire Festival booth.
